Jennifer Willey, co-founder and development partner of Career Excel, an online women’s leadership program specifically designed to help women achieve their potential, believes that “It’s important to address the underlying challenges and personal barriers that typically hold women back at work more so than men.” It is in line with this statement that the LEAP Leadership Institute decided to tackle the challenges that women combat and provide the skills they need to improve their lives, achieve more and earn more. This bundle is a collection of ten (10) short-paced online courses to be completed within a period of 3 weeks for the Leadership Accelerator Programme for high-potential young women on topical issues affecting women in the workplace.

In this module, we delve into the intricacies of formulating an effective career map. At the end of the course, participants will be able to map out their career steps and identify the competencies needed to thrive in their desired roles.
This module will take participants on a journey of self-mastery & discovery. Participants will learn the importance of each dimension of self-leadership - time management, emotional intelligence etc.

One of the challenges women face is how to build wealth as a 9-5er. In this module, participants will learn how to build wealth as a working girl and identify investment opportunities and utilize them.
This module introduces participants to the concept of transformative leadership - which is the act of engaging others in an ethical manner to generate positive and lasting change.
This module will help participants recognize what values what they stand for and why. More importantly, it will improve their personal decision making skills and make them question the kind of leaders the continent needs.

This module takes you on a tour of intentionally developing the executive presence that places you at an advantage. At the end of the course, participants will be able to build personal brand, create awareness and establish their executive presence.

Research shows that about 80% of women experience microaggressions at work. Career visibility is essential to building a reputable career and getting opportunities. You will learn the actionable steps you need to take to gain visibility at work.
This module introduces effective communication relevance as a leadership advocacy tool. Participants will develop the confidence clarity to communicate effectively with people on personal professional levels different cultural backgrounds.

One of the challenges women face is how to build wealth as a 9-5er. There is a belief that you need a side hustle to augment what you earn in order to break through financially. This myth will be debunked in this module.
To be eligible for a certificate, you need to have completed all your online modules within a period of 3 weeks. Certificate will be available for participants who scored 70% and above after the final assessment..
You will not be able to attempt the final assessment at the due time, and that automatically disqualifies you from receiving an invitation to the Bootcamp.
No, as the course is completely free and participants are expected to complete with their own resources.
Yes, there is a community on the LMS you are enrolled in where you can interact with other participants and discuss the courses and ask questions.

We currently do not have any sponsor for this programme. As you can observe in all our communication materials, no sponsor names or logos are present. However, this may change in the future.
Unfortunately, we are unable to match the entire pool of participants to mentors for the 3-month period. We only have the capacity to provide the virtual mentorship component to only those who participate in the bootcamp.
